Gallery is open by appointment only when no scheduled exhibitions are installed.
The mailing list is only used to announce BGFA events, news and special offers. You will not receive unsolicited emails or spam and we do not share our list with anyone. We send out a maximum of 3-4 announcements a month.
If you are a collector and/or have a specific interest in any artists please tell us the name of the artist or artists you are interested in, and we will add you to our targeted database. You will receive messages specific to the artist, as well as our general announcements.
We welcome members of the press to sign up for our press releases.

About Bert Green Fine Art
Bert Green Fine Art represents and exhibits emerging and mid-career artists. We present smart, challenging work and site-specific exhibitions, and publish original limited edition lithographs, letterpress, giclees, and photographic prints. Additionally, works by many other artists who are not represented directly by Bert Green Fine Art are available through our wide network of partners.
Bert Green Fine Art provides additional services such as consulting for fine art exhibition and urban revitalization projects, collection management, fine art print publication and art catalog production.
Gallery Director Bio
Bert Green graduated from New York University, and was the executive director of the NYC based non-profit arts organization Circumference from 1982 through 1989.
From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Green was a co-curator for the San Francisco, CA based non-profit arts organization ArtReach.
In 1999 Bert Green relocated to Los Angeles, CA to open the Circle Elephant Art gallery, and in 2004 opened Bert Green Fine Art (BGFA) in Downtown Los Angeles as the flagship of the newly established Gallery Row district. Bert Green founded the Los Angeles Downtown Art Walk in 2004, which has grown to become the largest monthly art event in Los Angeles. BGFA closed the Los Angeles location in December 2011
In 2012 BGFA relocated to Chicago, IL in the historic Willoughby Building on Michigan Avenue, across from Millennium Park and a block north of The Art Institute of Chicago. We retain a private, by appointment location at Aardvark Letterpress in Los Angeles, and are available by appointment in New York on an itenerant basis.
