Mikey Mosher arranges extremely ordinary, everyday objects which quietly reference religious imagery. These items expose a spiritual truth hiding behind day-to-day life, revealing their origins in religiosity in ordinary American culture. Mosher’s object assemblages are created as sculptural tableaux which are then digitally rendered as lenticulars, presented in custom, digitally fabricated frames.
Mikey Mosher is an interdisciplinary artist from Massachusetts, currently based in Chicago. He holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Much of Mikey’s work is influenced by his academic background in Religious Studies and revolves around the act of collecting and arranging objects, images, and materials in combination with design, woodworking, and digital fabrication.
All works are $2,000
