Ghost Of the Real

Ghost of the Real offers a captivating exploration of the intersection between human creativity and artificial intelligence with a collaboration between an AI and Industry of the Ordinary.

In this collaboration, Industry of the Ordinary push the boundaries of traditional artistic practice by inviting an AI into their creative process. Through a series of conversations, they challenge preconceived notions of authorship, agency, and the role of technology in shaping human expression and experience.

If any creative collaboration results in the creation of a ‘third mind’, what is the ontological status of this third mind if one of the instigating minds is artificial? It has been suggested that technology, as a tool, changes the way we know the world and ourselves. Here, Industry of the Ordinary explore the possibility of a creative collaboration as they move towards a simulated reality.
